Mongolian Beef in crockpot

Having a toddler approved delicious meal that can be prepared during the day is so important around here, and this is one of our top favorite meals.

 

What you need:

  1. 1 lb Flank Steak

  2. 1/2 cup of corn starch

  3. 1 tbls Minced garlic

  4. 1/2 tbls minced ginger

  5. 1tbls seaseme seed oil

  6. 1 cup of Brown Sugar

  7. 1/2 cup of Soy sauce

  8. 1/2 cup of Water

  9. Onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper seasoning; season to your liking

  10. 1 bushel of broccoli

We get 4 servings from this.

 

How to cook:

  1. Slice flank steak thinly across grain

  2. Toss cut up steak in 1/2 cup corn starch and put in crockpot

  3. Combine ingredients 3-9in bowl and mix then add to crockpot

  4. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5. Add broccoli with 1 hour left.

  5. Serve over jasmine rice.
